Materials/Methods:
In this non-randomized comparative trial,nine primary glaucoma patients including 6 males and 3 females in the age range of 48–89 years,diagnosed by appointed doctor during Dec 1st 2005 to Jan 9th 2006 ,were selected based on preoperative OculusGen allergy test.One of The patients was primary open-angle glaucoma and others were primary closed angle glaucoma.The patients were scheduled for trabeculectomy.Before suturing the conjunctiva, the OculusGen was directly implanted in the subconjunctiva space.Thirty primay glaucoma patients including 13 males and 17 females during Jan 1st 2005 to Nov 30th 2005 were regarded as the ungrafted control group. All the patients were regularly followed until 90 days postoperatively for examining best corrective vision , IOP, anterior chamber inflammation, bleb blood vessel, bleb size, complication. The complete success defined: the intraocular pressure(IOP) was lower than 21mmHg postoperatively without medicine.The complications include :hyphema, flat anterior chamber, uveitis, endophthalmitis, hypotony, choroidal detachment,suprachchoroidal hemorrhage. The OculusGens were provided by the Pro Top & Mediking Co., Ltd.
