Conclusions:
OculusGen Collagen Matrix is a biodegradable 3-dimention porous collagen-glycosaminoglican scaffold, which is designed to prevent scar formation and recurrence. Implantation of OculusGen Collagen matrix drastically reduced contraction and promoted the formation of a nearly normal subconjunctival stroma. The OculusGen implanted in glaucoma filtration surgery results in a significantly lower recurrence rate.
