Results:
Vitreous prolapse ocurred in 17 eyes (15.3%). The most common surgical step where this complication was noted was during cortical aspiration with I/A in 13 eyes (76.4%)followed by luxation of the nucleus to the anterior chamber in 3 eyes (17.6%) and nucleus removal in 1 eye (6%).
