Conclusions:
LASEK provides greater patient comfort than Epi-LASIK intra-operatively, while Epi-LASIK during provides greater comfort during the 5 day re-epithelialization period. Patient comfort is equal in the two groups when re-epithelialization is complete by day 6-7. Visual acuity by 1 month postop. was equivalent in the two groups.
