Materials/Methods:
Selection criteria for this prospective study included 20 eyes of 10 patients who had uncomplicated phacoemulsification surgery with a clear cornea incision with a curvilinear capsulorhexis and capsular bag implantation of an apodizeed diffractive IOL (ReSTOR) and the tree pieces MA60. In those patients with high astigmatism higher than 2.50 diopters LRI were used to reduce it. The follow-up examination at 1 week, as well as 1, 3 months postoperatively, wich included complete ophthalmic evaluation.
