About the Presenter:
Dr. Arvind Venkataraman, originally from India, graduated with a Bachelor degree in Medicine from Thanjavur Medical College in 2000 and then completed a four-year ophthalmology residency at the largest eye hospital in the world, the Aravind Eye Hospital in Madurai, India in 2004, obtaining his Master of Surgery in Ophthalmology. Since 2004, Dr. Arvind worked in England, where he expanded his learning and gained valuable hands-on experience in general ophthalmology and glaucoma as a clinical fellow at the James Paget Hospital in Great Yarmouth. He has also passed the exams conducted by The Royal College of Ophthalmologists to obtain the membership of the College. He also held a teaching post at the Derbyshire Royal Infirmary where he gained advanced experience in medical retina.Dr. Arvind is currently doing a fellowship to improve his skills in cornea and refractive surgery in Calgary, Canada
