About the Presenter:
Irene C. Kuo, M.D. is Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at the Wilmer Eye Institute, the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Baltimore, Maryland, and Medical Director of the Wilmer Eye Institute at White Marsh, in White Marsh, Maryland. She received her B.S. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and her M.D. from the University of California at San Francisco. She completed her residency at the University of Southern California-Doheny Eye Institute Los Angeles County Medical Center and her fellowship in cornea, refractive surgery, and uveitis at the University of California at San Francisco and the Proctor Foundation.

She has research interests in corneal wound-healing after keratorefractive surgery, evaluation and treatment of infectious keratitis, and treatment
