About the Presenter:
Dr. Shaleen L. Belani received her undergraduate degree from Cornell University and medical degree from SUNY Buffalo School of Medicine, where she was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha, the National Honor Medical Society. Following a one year Internship at Western Pennsylvania Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA, Dr. Belani served a three year residency at the Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. There she was elected as a co-Chief Resident during her senior year.
Dr. Belani is currently in practice in Los Angeles, CA. She splits her time between working on clinical research projects with Dr. Samuel Masket in Century City, CA and practicing general ophthalmology at a Kaiser Permanente West Los Angeles Medical Center.
